UP Police Constable Result 2019 (Released) for 49,568 posts @ uppbpb.gov.in and Cut Off Merit List Result Download
On October 19th, 2018, the Uttar Pradesh state government declared fresh vacancies of around 49,568 constables for different wings of the State Police force, with the inclusion of the Fire department.
As per the press conference that was held on Friday, 19th October 2018, the Director-General of Police OP Kumar and Principal Secretary Home, Arvind Kumar, said that they expect the 2 sets of recruitments to be completed by July 2019. Also, they mentioned that both the recruitment drives would fill up half of the UP state’s constabulary vacancies.
Out of the 49, 568 vacancies, 31, 360 would join the Police force and 18, 208 are to be absorbed in the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC).
